Kelsey is a Birmingham, AL photographer who has been growing her practice since 2015. She received her BFA in Studio Art with a focus on photography from Birmingham-Southern College in May of 2018. Kelsey works with various photographic mediums, including Polaroids, 35mm film, and digital, with a primary focus on Polaroid and toy camera photography (lomography). Her photography explores the relationship between place and self and what defines the word “home.” Kelsey’s artistic influences are Sir David Bailey, CBE, David Hockney, Larry Fink, Andy Warhol, and Stevie Nicks. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with her family, all of which serve as inspiration for her work.
